(in alphabetical order)
Hannah Clancy
Hi, My name is Hannah Clancy and I am an entrant in this year's Moura Coal and Country Festival Entrant of the Year Competition. I am 18 years of age and am currently employed at Atmosphere Coffee Shop. My sponsor for the quest is CFMEU Moura Lodge. I feel as an entrant in this year's quest, I can give back to the community which I have been part of for the past 17 years. The contribution I make to the town by holding fun, family orientated activities will help bring the community together while also helping raise much needed funds. Tiffany Foden
Coal & Country Festival Entrant Tiffany Foden
Sponsored by Moura Apex Fish Stocking Group, Moura Apex and the Moura Bowls Club.
Tiffany has lived in Moura for 11 yrs. She works part time at the Moura Government Agency and is kept busy by her husband and two young children, she has entered the quest this year as it has always been an ambition of hers, and believes that the quest is a great chance to help raise funds for a great community event, enjoyed by all.
Tiffany's fundraising endeavors consist of a lot of family originated events; there will be an Auction of Promises on the 29th May at the local Bowls Club, car washes with sausage sizzles and cake stalls, a Junior Fishing Comp just for the kiddies in June, along with a Wild West bowls night on the 17th July, along with many other events. Keep your eyes posted for upcoming events.
Tiffany wishes to thank her sponsors and the community for their support during her time in the quest and wishes the other entrants an enjoyable time fundraising.
Monica Thirgood
Monica, a Safety Advisor at the Dawson Mines, is from Brisbane and has lived in Moura since February 2007. She enjoys walking her dog Winston, travelling and spending time with friends and family who live in various locations around Australia. Monica sees the Entrant Quest as her opportunity to do her bit for the community, in particular bringing people together at her fundraisers that normally would not socialise together. Interestingly although working as a Safety Advisor Monica has a degree in Archaeology as well as currently finishing her Masters in Risk Management.
